** After each playing session be sure to make sure your driers are dried, the bag is aired out. |

** Pitchy notes on top hand-
CAREFULLY remove the chanter. - Slightly moisten the tip of the reed. - CAREFULLY reinsert the chanter.

** To prevent air loss periodically remove the 'Moose valve' or the 'Little Mack' valve and wash it. |
** Always keep your chanter tape in good condition. ( replace it often)
- before removing any tape always be sure of how it is positioned so you can replace it to the same position.
- remove the tape. - clean the chanter using Eucalyptus oil
- wipe the chanter clean and replace the tape
at each hole.. |
** Keep the holes on your chanter clean by gently brushing them out using a 'mascara brush' |
** keep all joints firm using waxed hemp. DONOT just keep adding 'plumbers tape' |
** to prevent damage to your bag or bag zipper make sure the zipper is it regularly lubricated using the 'Zip Lube' |
